MALLARD PUBLIC LIBRARY
BOOK CLUB
WILL BE MEETING THE
FOURTH MONDAY
OF EACH MONTH
AT 6:30 PM IN THE LIBRARY
COME AND JOIN THE BOOK CLUB
We are an ink cartridge recycling center, please feel free to drop off your empty ink cartridges.
Libri Foundation Grant
The Mallard Public Library was awarded a grant from the Libri Foundation and received 81books with a value of $1,406.42, of which $350.00 worth of books are math and science books made possible by the generous donation by Hal Berenson & Laura Ackerman. The Mallard Public Library paid matching funds of $350.00 which was made possible by the generous donations from David Reinders (Co-Bank), Al Woodford (Mallard Sporting Goods) and the Mallard Garden Club. These books are for children of all ages from toddler to high school and include picture books, chapter books, fiction and non-fiction books.

To encourage a love of reading and learning, we sponsor activities for our youth. Some of these activities include:
- Chili and Chicken Noodle soup with a costume parade, games and treats.
- Easter Egg Hunt
- Summer Reading Program with rewards
- Story Hour is held at various times throughout the year
- Play Area for the younger children
