  • Halloween Party with a chili and hot dog supper, followed by games, treats, and a movie
  • Easter Egg Hunt

UPCOMING EVENTS


The Mallard Public Library held a Spring Open House on April 24, 2010 to recognize the Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation for the grants the library had received for the year 2009 and 2010.  Without the grant we would not have been able to update our library with new the new technology we now have to offer our patrons.  Don Miller, Kay Suhr and Skip Wallace, from the Palo Alto County Gaming Development Corporation, were among those attending the Mallard Public Library Open House.  Thank you to everyone that attended the Open House and made it a success.
Our library offers a variety of services to our patrons such as printing pictures from a digital camera, color copies, internet access and several other services.  Our summer hours are Monday 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Wednesday 9:00AM to 5:30 PM and Friday 9:00 AM to 5: 30 PM.

We have a summer reading program for all ages with prizes for the most books read in each age group plus an end of the reading program party.
We are starting an adult book club.  Anyone interested please contact the Mallard Library 712/425-3330.

Our library will also be hosting children’s story hour this summer.  Watch for the date and time.

Mallard Public Library will be hosting a Easter Party for children 3rd grade and under at the library on April 3,2010 from 10 AM to 11 AM.  We will have a story, movie and craft activities.  Refreshments will be served.  Join us at the library for  all the fun.
